With the child lock activated, you no longer have to worry about your child accidentally opening the rear door while the car is moving. Once activated, the rear door will lock securely and cannot be opened from the inside. The small locking lever is typically located at the bottom of the rear door. Since it is rarely used, it has a long lifespan and rarely breaks.

Its somewhat hidden location makes the child lock an effective solution to prevent children from accidentally opening the door. Interestingly, each rear door of the car usually has its own child lock, so you can adjust it according to your needs.  

Unlike other safety features, the child lock is specifically designed for the inner rear door handle. So, when the child lock is active, the inner rear door handle will not function. But don't worry, the door can still be opened from the outside, or by sliding the small lever to the UNLOCK position.  

How to Use the Child Lock  

If you want to use this feature, it's super easy:  

1. Open the rear door of the car first. 
2. Look for the small lever on the lower side of the door. It usually has the word "LOCK" written on it. 
3. Slide the lever to the LOCK position to activate the child lock.
4. To deactivate it, slide the lever back to its original position (UNLOCK).

Besides sliding it to UNLOCK, the door can still be opened from the outside. It’s very flexible, so you can activate or deactivate it according to your travel needs.

Cara Pakai Child Lock

Kalau mau pakai fitur ini, caranya gampang banget:

1. Buka dulu pintu belakang mobil.
2. Cari tuas kecil di bagian samping bawah pintu. Biasanya ada tulisan LOCK.
3. Geser tuas itu ke posisi LOCK buat aktifkan child lock.
4. Kalau mau matiin lagi, geser tuas ke posisi semula (UNLOCK).

Selain geser ke UNLOCK, pintu juga tetap bisa dibuka dari luar kok. Fleksibel banget, jadi kamu bisa aktifkan atau matikan sesuai kebutuhan perjalanan.
