Don't Just Replace the Dead Ones, Replace All Spark Plugs at Once

Despite its small size, the spark plug plays a significant role in the performance of a car's engine. Unfortunately, many car owners still do not pay enough attention to this important component. Even when it is time to replace them, owners often only replace the damaged spark plugs.

However, this approach can actually cause new problems. It is like replacing only one flat tire while the other three are already worn out. The car can still run, but it's clearly not optimal and can be dangerous in the long run.

Why Replace All Spark Plugs at Once?

For example, if your car has a 4-cylinder engine, it's best to replace all four spark plugs at once. Why? Because the old spark plugs have already experienced a decline in performance, even if they're not completely worn out. If you mix new and old spark plugs, the combustion system becomes unbalanced.

The effects? Numerous!

  • The car’s power may weaken because the combustion process is not optimal.
  • The ignition coil has to work extra hard to compensate for the weak spark plugs. This causes the coil to overheat and may lead to faster wear and tear.
  • Fuel consumption becomes more inefficient because the engine has to work harder to produce the power that should be achieved more efficiently.
  • Worse still, new spark plugs can also wear out faster because they have to "shoulder the burden" of the old spark plugs that aren't performing optimally.

Simple Solution: Replace All at Once

Indeed, from a cost perspective, replacing all spark plugs at once may seem more expensive initially. But this is a small investment that can save you more money in the long run. The engine becomes more stable, fuel consumption is more efficient, and you won’t have to keep going back and forth to the workshop because of annoying minor issues.

So, starting now, don’t delay replacing all the spark plugs at once. Your car (and your wallet) will thank you!

Kenapa Harus Ganti Busi Sekaligus?

Misalnya mobil kamu pakai mesin 4 silinder, maka sebaiknya kamu ganti keempat busi sekaligus. Kenapa?

Solusi Simpel: Ganti Semua Sekaligus
