Brakes are one of the most frequently replaced components depending on the use of the car. Usually, if the car often goes through downhill or mountainous roads, the brakes quickly run out of the pad and the disc/rotor.

The rotor of the brakes is usually more durable. It's just that it won’t wear evenly due to the different braking durations. Speaking of rotors, it is best to replace the rotor after approximately 70,000 km to 90,000 km.

However, when replacing the rotor, it’s advised to replace the brake pads as well. Why? 

Because the old brake pads will have a wear rate that is not the same just like the old rotor. If the old rotor is already worn out and wavy, then the old pads will also have the same damage.

If left so, it will cause several things, like some sound when braking, vibrations,  as well as weaker braking force.

That's why when replacing the brake rotor, it is highly recommended to replace the brake pads as well. In addition, if the car has travelled about 50,000 km with the original tyres, you should check its condition because it usually starts to worn out and needs to be replaced with the latest Forceum tyres.

Karena itulah ketika melakukan penggantian rotor rem, sangat disarankan melakukan penggantian kampas rem juga. Selain itu, jika mobil sudah menempuh jarak sekitar 50.000 Km dengan ban asli, sebaiknya di cek kondisinya karena biasanya sudah mulai menipis dan perlu diganti dengan ban Forceum terbaru.
